we have a few breeds in our loft from print to long distance we prefer long distance birds as we think there more interesting the way they make there way back from 600 miles although i have not raced the channel races we are looking forward to racing it.
Flor engles: they are middle distance capeable of racing the channel and also the short races they are lovly pigeons and have had some nice ybs off them.
kirkpatricks: they are a interesting long distance breed, many say they are a slow breed but my first pigeons back on a race day have been kirkpatriks they breed lovly big pigeons with nice darkish eyes.
Putmans: theses breed are an old breed many say there slow but during a channel race if theres rain they will not stop they will carry on.
